| 1. Introduction

Welcome to Tatakai ServerScan

ServerScan can be used in several different ways depending on what your
trying to achieve. It can be run as a standalone scanner kicking players
for violations, high pings etc as well as to send regular announcements.
Many scanners do these tasks but not in the same way ServerScan does. We
have a unique enforcement system that we believe works. This ultimately
makes playing on your server more pleasureable.

Built into ServerScan is a plethora of permissions. These are controlled
by what we abtly named an RCON Key File. By using this file you can restrict
what the ServerScan client is permitted to do on your server. With this
control you are able to give all your paying Clan Members restricted access
to your servers RCON. This feature is unique to ServerScan.

|The below files are stored in your Windows System32 folder. They are standard |
|Microsoft files. It is possible that you may have some or all of these files |
|already. They will only be overwritten if your versions are older than the |
|versions contained in this package. If these files are already present on your |
|system prior to installing our software we will not uninstall them should you |
|decide to remove our software as they are probably being used by other software. |

The following registy entries are not always deleted when uninstalling our software.
They are fine to leave but you can delete them manually should you wish to do so.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Tatakai TSS]
[HKEY_USERS\S-1-4-23-7233343-13463342-6823454330-1553\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\Tatakai]

S-1-4-23-7233343-13463342-6823454330-1553 is a unique number so will be different
on your system.

If you have set ServerScan to load at Windows startup and then remove ServerScan you may need to delete the following registry key:-

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
" Tatataki ServerScan AutoLoad"="C:\\Program Files\\Tatakai ServerScan\\Tatakai ServerScan.exe"

We are not aware of any other entries that are not removed should you follow the
proper uninstallation method.
